The IKF will organise in 2018 the first IKF U21 World Korfball Championship (abbreviation: IKF U21 WKC).
The period of the event will be 7 - 14 July 2018.
The host will be the Hungarian Korfball Association (HKA). This 1st IKF U21 WKC will be played in the venue Tüskecsarnok.

The IKF invited 12 national teams from all 5 continents to participate in the event. Based on the IKF U21 WKC subscriptions the countries come from ;
- 8 countries from Europe, including Hungary as host country
- 3 countries from Asia
- 1 country from Americas.
